Plan de reforestación en un área ejidal de la localidad de Mecatepec, municipio de Tecoanapa; Guerrero.

Abstract

Reforestation is a fundamental part of rescuing the areas that are affected by deforestation, which has been caused by the use of firewood as fuel for cooking or for the reconstruction of their omes, the change in land use, burning clandestine, causing a problem of scarcity of resources in the ejido area in the town of Mecatepec municipality of Tecoanapa Guerrero. The objective of this investigation was to elaborate a reforestation plan, which would make it possible to sensitize the population about the importance of reforestation and conservation of the ejidal area and promote community participation in the town to promote reforestation strategies and alternative use of vegetation within of the area. This is a descriptive level study, where 30 ejidaarios from the locality participated. The instruments that were used were the qualitative methodology and community intervention using the instrument of participatory action research, carrying out activities such as the time line, a moment where the ejidatarios shaped a before, after and future of their ejidal area. Obtaining as a result the good acceptance of the project from the beginning, so that the reforestation of deforested spaces was carried out more easily, managing to recover some species of medicinal plants, such as: quina (Cinchona officinalis L) and coachalalate (Amphipterygium adstringens Schide former Schlecht). Likewise, an agreement was prepared in favor of the protection of the 85 trees planted during the development of the project and the awareness of the inhabitants, in order to give it continuity.
