Abstract

The general objective of this document is to analyze the causes that obstruct community development in the community of San Pedro y las Garzas, for which an analysis and comparison of the operational and administrative functioning of two economic organizations is carried out, one is the Pescadores fishing cooperative. Unidos de las Garzas and the other are the Family Production Units that exist in the community, this in order to know which entity performs better, what aspects are present and absent in both, and thus rescue the best of each one, it is worth mention that the family production units are entities of the social economy because they are considered forms of social organization for the production, distribution and consumption of socially necessary goods and services as well as working under the principles and values of solidarity, mutual aid, equity and honesty, hence the need to make the role they play in the economy visible. If these were recognized, it would be given the importance it deserves from society and the federal authorities.
