dc.description.abstract | The objective of this research is to evaluate the performance of the Savings and Loan Cooperative Society (SOCAP) Suljaá, and compare it with its counterparts IFR Tlapantomin and Red-Eco de la Montaña, Suljaá was born and developed in Xochistlahuaca in 1971, on the Costa Chica of the State of Guerrero, composed of population mainly Amuzga, with a high level of marginalization and historically with no access to financial services, the performance and effectiveness of this cooperative was determined in the context of the social economy, analyzing its processes, results and the impact it has on the community. Cooperatives, according to the social economy approach, are essential for economic and social development. The methodology used is a quantitative and qualitative approach, which involves numerical measurement and statistical analysis to establish behavioral patterns. The IBASE social balance is used, which uses standardized methods to guarantee the reliability and validity of the data collected, the aspects it evaluates are; Financial Indicators, Internal and External Social Indicators, Functional Body and Exercise of Citizenship, Collaboration and Continuous Improvement. Data collection is based on the measurement of variables related to the performance of the cooperative. The results show that the Suljaá Cooperative has managed to develop several aspects, such as the generation of well-paid employment and the strengthening of the community through the products and services it provides. However, critical areas that require attention are also identified, such as the need to improve administrative management, mainly general management. The data obtained shows that, despite the achievements, there are areas of opportunity that limit the cooperative's potential to grow and expand. It is concluded that the cooperative has a positive impact on the community, but has challenges that must be addressed to maximize its effectiveness. The remuneration that Suljaá makes to society is often not made visible because it does not have a specific item within its accounts that represents this contribution. The same thing happens with Tlapanaltomin and RED- ECO, in general terms all savings and loan cooperatives. present this problem. Cooperativa Suljaá is on its way to becoming a model of success in the field of social economy, this benefits the well-being of the community and sustainable development. | |
